9th Kyu -7th Kyu (1/2 White 1/2 Yellow Belt - Blue Belt)
Students must acquire the following gear by the time they achieve the rank of 9th Kyu (1/2 white 1/2 yellow belt) in addition to gear required for new students.

Hand Pads
- P2 recommended for children.
- Century Black Label sparring gloves recommended for adults, advance level children and black belts.

Foot Pads (must cover entire foot & toes)
- P2 recommended for children.
- Century Black label sparring boot recommended for adults, advance level children and black belts.
Parents are encouraged to consider purchasing shin guards and face guards for young children. However, these items are optional.
