Annual Registration
- Annual Membership Fee $ 25.00
- Each additional sibling/parent $ 15.00

Tuition is non-refundable!
Card on File Requirement
At the time of registration, families are required to place a credit or debit card on file. If a student is attending classes and fails to make tuition payment on time, tuition and account balances will be charged to the card on file, unless other arrangements are made in advance with the studio manager, Mrs. Sabrina DeMendonca-Smith. We depend on your timely payment in order to successefully continue to operate the studio. Students who make tuition payments on time will not be affected. It is important to note that taking a break from class is different from attending the first two weeks of classes without making a payment.
If there are special circumstances, please speak with Mrs. DeMendonca in advance so that other arrangements can be made if possible. We have been flexible in the past and will continue to try to accomodate our clients as best we can. If you will be taking a break, please notify the studio as a courtesy as you will be missed in class.
If your account is set-up on AutoPay, please be sure the card on file is up-to-date. If a payment is missed because of a card error, a $10.00 late fee will be imposed.
How to Pay
Many families choose to participate in our automatic payment system (AutoPay). However, you may choose to pay in person, at the office or by phone. Accepted forms of payment are cash, check, money order, debit or credit card (VISA, MasterCard, Discover and American Express). You may also pay online by credit or debit card. To ensure all payments are credited to the appropriate account, we require the student's name to be written in the memo section when paying by check.
Fees
- If your account is set-up on AutoPay, please be sure the card on file is up-to-date. If a payment is missed because of a card error, a $10.00 late fee will be imposed.
- There is a $30.00 fee for checks returned by the bank for any reason, and your card on file will be automatically run for the amount of the returned check plus the $30.00 fee.
- For students enrolled in the After School Program or Camp, there is also a $5.00 late pick up fee charged at 6:00 p.m. and every 15 minutes after 6:00 p.m.
- For students enrolled in the After School Program, there is also a $10.00 non-notification of absence fee. Please refer to the After School Program rules for complete details.
Discounts
- Family / Multi-Program Discount: 5% off total tuition. May not be combined with any other discount.
- Service Discount: 10% off total per student. May not be combined with any other discount.
- Applies to: Law Enforcement; Fire & Rescue; Active Military; Teachers. Please present proof of status at time of each transaction
Belt Testing
MAS karate students advance according to the our belt system. Belt testing is held quarterly. However, all students will not advance at that pace. Students must display certain techniques and quality of execution in order to advance from one rank to the next. Beginners can expect at least three to six months between levels while advance students may spend two or more years training between ranks. Click here to read more.
The cost for testing is as follows:-
$30.00 - Tiny belts (3-6 year olds)

$45.00 - 9th Kyu - 7th Kyu (beginners -- 1/2 yellow 1/2 white to blue belts)

$65.00 - 6th Kyu - 4th Kyu (intermediate -- green belts)
- $90.00 - 3rd Kyu - 1st Kyum (advance -- brown belts)
Recital Fee
Recital will be held at the end of the Fall-Spring season, usually in May. Recital and other important dates will be announced in the fall, usually by September. The recital fee will also be presented in the Fall and you will be able to make one or two payments by December 1st. This fee will include end of year recital costume fee plus two show tickets.
